Purple Pixels Simple Data (PPSD)
The PPSD (Purple Pixels Simple Data) is at heart a CMS (Content Management System). It is a PHP, MySQL Web Based Application that is designed and written in-house by Purple Pixels, and it allows the owner of a website to update and add posts him/herself, whether this being monthly, weekly, daily or even hourly. No more sending an email to the web developer to add news, and no more needing to learn HTML.
To use the PPSD, you simply load it up (using a link that is NOT visible to your customers), log in with your usercode and password, and then proceed to add posts and news, hastle free.
The PPSD is an evolving application that can be tailored to meet the client's needs. We currently use it as the backbone for our own website, the news section is one of our pages powered by PPSD, along with a couple of other customer web sites (see our Portfolio). It is also used on our sister website, Eclipse Photos.
